Final Video of the Bomb

Music for my Bomb film

In this short task I had to create a short fast music sequence to attach to my action sequence. I was asked to do this because usually in any action movie there is sound to go with their chase scene.

Master Sequence Final Cut

In this task we had to put all are sequences together to create are final video which will be uploaded to Vimeo. Once all my sequences were put together I took the pictures which we took earlier of Long Road and imported them into my master sequence. Once this was done I also imported some files called effects which gave my the ability to create explosions and flames. I decided that I would use these files to create different explosions around Long Road as this look liked it was caused from the bomb. At the end of my video I added credits with my name and the names of my associates. The tools I used in this sequence were trim and rubber band.

Final Cut Action Sequence

In this task we had to create are action sequence with Final Cut to use for are final video. In this video I had to do many things to create the best video possible for example cutting and adding sound effects. After finishing the trimming I imported my sound track which I created in GarageBand  and added it to the running scene where Josh runs to the bomb site. In the sequence we had to create a clip where the agent (Josh) got a phone call from the operator (Paula) telling him that there is a bomb in Long Road and he had to disarm it. The tools I used in this sequence were trim tool and rubber band. The rubber band was used to help me to create the best compatibility between the sound track and my running scene. I also added some fighting sound effects to my fight scene.

Meeting Final Cut

In this task we had to use Final Cut to create the effect of two people (character A Louis Bomber) and ( character B Tom Boss) meeting and passing over the bomb. In this sequence we used the 180 degree rule to create the over the shoulder effect and to tell the audience where each character is positioned and there spacial area within the 180 degrees. The tools I used within this clip were the trim tool and the rubber band tool. The trim tool was used a lot because I had to create a fast clip which made both characters look like they were simultaneously speaking. I used the help of the rubber bands tell me which bits to trim.

Phone Call Final Cut

In this task we had to create an effect which would make the audience believe that we were having a conversation at the same time. To create this effect we used many tools from cutting to fades. The overall idea with this sequence was to create a realistic phone conversation using two different timed shots and placing them in positions were they create the best talking effect. In this sequence I had to trim at least every clip to knock of those worthless seconds to create a fast but sensible clip. The actors performing are Louis Davis (Bomber) and Tom Adams (Boss)

In this task we had to create a Final Cut project with are photos we took earlier. I had to import these photos from the camera we took them from to be able to edit the pictures in Final Cut. We edited the  pictures in Photoshop.

My Groups Storyboard

This picture represents the first half of my groups storyboard. As you can see the first shot we took was the long shot. This first scene is described under the scene and tells the story of what we are going to do in this shot.

This picture represents the second half of my groups storyboard. As you can see the last shot we took was the low angle shot. This last scene is described under the scene and tells the story of what we are going to do in this shot.
